Guide to User Permissions

Introduction

MYREGPRO caters for individual businesses to have certain users or employees assigned to specific operations within the business. For example, 1 person loads and processes transactions, while another person handles and works with the invoices. Permissions allow users access to only the parts of the application they are privileged to.

Depending on the configuration of a users permissions, some of the navigations and operational features may be hidden to save space. For instance, if you don’t have the invoicing permissions, you won’t need the “Invoice” navigation. If you as an owner are missing a column that you require please contact support by logging a ticket.

All permissions operate on a similar basis. If something cannot be accessed or seen then a permission might not have been assigned and if something can be seen which the user is not allowed to see then the permission is most likely wrongly assigned.


Please note: A user will have to log out and back in, if they were assigned a new permission or if a permission was revoked for it to take effect.


Owner permissions are setup by MYREGPRO support staff when registering. After that, it is the owners responsibility to setup his or her employees. MYREGPRO support staff can setup user permissions for you but this will incur a once-off setup fee of R250.00

The Manage permissions page has categories that drops down with its respective permissions.


Owner permissions allows you to manage other users and their permissions.


All permissions labelled like below, with the “Navigation” simply allows the use to see the navigation tabs for that category.
