This article describes how to create as well as edit your clients (be it a Dealer, Fleet or Walk-In) on MYREGPRO. Clients are used to specify their details and have vehicles you process transactions for. If you have repeat clients, you won’t have to create them again, they are unique by their ID number. Make sure entered ID no's are correct!
Navigation
One of the steps of the process to create a transaction for a dealer (How-to: Create Dealer/Walk-in Transaction) requires you to select a dealer from a list. If you don't have any dealers loaded, then this list will be empty. The steps for creating a new client - Dealer, Fleet or Walk-in, is all fundamentally the same, just the initial navigation changes.
To create a new dealer for example - Navigate to "Dealers" then to "View Dealers" as seen below.
Here you will see a list of dealers you have previously loaded or none. On the far right is the button.
Create a new Client - Dealer/Fleet/Walk-in
The information required to create a new dealer is:
Name
Contact Person and information
Physical address
Edit a Client
Occasionally, you might need to edit a previously-created client record, e.g. to fix a contact number or upload a new document etc. Go to the list of client, as specified above, you might have to scroll through the pages or search for the client depending on how many there are. Should there be multiple matches for your search criteria, you will be presented with a list from which to select the correct record. Select the “Edit” button corresponding to the client you wish to edit from the list, you can then edit the information for the client record, or edit their address and save the changes, in the same manner as creating a new client record. Example below for a dealer -
Upload Documentation
On the edit page, you will see "Upload Document" section. If you wish to store a copy of the Dealers/ Fleets BRN/Proxy ID or a Clients ID you can upload it here.
If you have uploaded a document previously you wont see the "Upload Document" section, but rather a "View Documents" button -
Updating Documentation
If you need upload an updated document for the client, you will need to replace the old document.
In order to replace the document, use the "View Documents" button above, this will navigate you to the documents page for the dealer. Here you can search for the document by either paging or using the table search. In the search bar, you can type in "BRN" or "ID" to find the document. Click the replace button and upload you new document.
