How to add an Associate

This article describes how to add an associate for your business on MYREGPRO. Associates are people/business that also use MYREGPRO that assist you to process transaction for your business in other regions or areas.


(blue star) Prerequisite


Before you can transfer transaction and have associates for your business, the associate must be registered and also be using MYREGPRO. In order for you to add an associate you will need their company key - this will be automatically generated by the system, you just need to ask them for it.


Company keys are found with the "Manage Business" navigation under "My Business" -



Under Business Information you will see your company key - 



You will send this key to anyone that wants to add you and your company as an associate. Associates will have to send their keys to you, if you want to add them.


(blue star) Add Associate


Once you have received your associates company key, you can add them. Under the "My Business" navigation - you can either navigate directly to "Find Associate" or go to "Manage Associates" and then the "Find Associate" button.



Once you have navigated to the "Find Associate" page, insert the key you were given by your associate into the text field and select "Find".



If the key is correct, you should see a table appear with your associates details. Select the "Add" button. You will be navigated to the "Add Associate" page. Here you will see 2 editable field namely "Province" and "Area".



Fill in the Province and area that you associate operates in. 

 


Select the "Add Button". Once successful, you will be taken to the "My Associates" page. Here you will see the associate you just added as well as a list of your associates that you have added in the past for your business. 



Now you are able to transfer transactions to your associate for them to process in their area.


This page also allows you to Edit your associate, to change their active status and/or area and province. You can also delete any associates you no longer wish to have linked to your business.
